Abstract of the Malaysia Electronic Government

E-Government means by the strategic, co-ordinate use of information and communication of technologies (ICT) in public control and political decision-making. The good is it can estimate to deliver greatest efficiency of the institutions concerned, improvement in public services and also political participation. Fast results can only be expected an institutional base and technical and infrastructural facilities already form. In the future, the introduction of e-government will mainly be concentrate to the industrial and more developing countries. However, potential uses also opening up for those poor countries, such as Indonesia, Cuba, Arab and so on. In some cases, the problems to reform are not so much financial and infrastructural difficulties as political blockades. E-government can develop cooperation of supporting neighbor countries in devising and implementing political and administrative reforms and improve market in public. Except for the new technologies. E-government should promote governance and strengthen in politics and civil society, so that it's easily to used by peoples even though for those peoples that not really know how to use internet.
